Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She was in 1997 when she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Early theater work includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that December. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows in an Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode and broke the news to viewers of the show in a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return in production. Fourth season began on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples.
